On July 20, 2023 we hosted Legend Conversation Number 9 with DJ Muggs, the legendary producer behind Cypress Hill, The Soul Assassins, and some mega mega hits.
Guests were treated to an East L.A. meets Italian style dinner from Chef Brian Fisher that featured steak salad, handmade pasta, and churros. Guests also received an exclusive Legend Conversation x Jugrnaut tee, and custom cocktails created by Dorian’s featuring Tres Generaciones, Johnnie Walker, and Topo Chico.
During the live interview Muggs told stories about growing up between New York and L.A. during Hip Hop’s formation, his time with Cypress Hill, crafting hits like Jump Around, and treated the crowd to new music. For the after party, Muggs was joined by elite emcee, Meyhem Lauren, for a high energy performance of their collaborations.
