2022 was an amazing year for Legend Conversation. We re-launched in 2021 with Raekwon - our “pilot” of sorts. In 2022 we started to grow. We executed editions with DJ Jazzy Jeff, The Alchemist, and ended with a holiday party edition with DJ Clark Kent. To kick off 2023, we had to take things up another notch and prove that this was not a fluke or something to come and go. This session with Just Blaze came together fast, and the date wasn’t ideal, but man, we could not pass up a chance to get Just Blaze in the LC hot seat.
Thus, On March 1st, 2023 we hosted Legend Conversation number 7 featuring Just Blaze. The evening included Just Blaze themed drinks from Ciroc, Remy Martin, and Topo Chico, as well as a Chopped Cheese Pizza & fries dinner by Chef Brian Fisher. After dinner and drinks, guests were treated to a live interview between Just Blaze and the Legend Conversation hosts, DJ RTC and Dave Jeff. Over 60 minutes, Just Blaze discussed his earliest DJ memories, putting himself in the right place at the right time, his experiences at as cornerstone of Roc-A-Fella Records, and much more.
After the interview, we had a party. Being onstage as Just Blaze played such monumental records as “U Don’t Know”, “Exhibit C”, “Breathe”, “Roc The Mic” and so many more was one of the best live experiences of my life. This was truly a blast. We hope you enjoy as much as we do.
